2. Syrup City Park

Victoria Peechatt said: I walked into Syrup City Park with a coffee in my hand and felt like I needed some pancakes. It was an informal brunch option, but it felt right for me. The bright interior of the restaurant was welcoming, and there were plenty of people enjoying their food in the dining space that had been converted from an old garage.

A bar on one side offered drinks in addition to breakfast fare, while high chairs lined up against the wall indicated that kids were welcome too. I turned around at once to find a table where I could sit alone so I wouldn’t have any distractions while eating my delicious plate of pancakes covered in fresh fruit or drizzled with chocolate sauce made from scratch by their pastry chef!

Address: 1875 York St, Denver

Opening hours: 7 AM – 1:45 PM All Days.

3. HashTAG

HashTAG is a cute and colorful brunch joint in town. They have so many different types of pancakes, which was amazing because I’m someone who loves to try new things and can’t typically find anything on the menu I don’t want to eat. The salmon eggs benedict was also really good, but my favorite part about HashTAG was definitely the atmosphere. It’s super fun with lots of cool decorations that make you feel right at home!

Address: 10155 E 29th Dr #120, Denver

Opening hours: 7 AM – 2 PM All Days.

4. Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

David Kimbell said: I had my doubts. I am not a morning person and the thought of eating breakfast before noon sounded like torture. But this brunch was worth it, it’s right on par with food that’s served at 5 PM! The waiter took our order quickly but he also made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. My friend got the blueberry pancakes which she loved, I had to get them too they looked so good. The bacon was perfect, really crispy and thick cut! We both ordered some grits because they are so good here- very gritty with tons of flavorings in them.

Address: 1701 Wynkoop St Suite 150, Denver

Opening hours:

  • From Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 6:30 AM–4 PM

5. Syrup Downtown

Timothy Williams said: We’re coming back to Syrup Downtown today! I’m so excited. We came here last year and it was great. The Nutella pancakes were HUGE, like 12 inches or something like that. It was really cool because they had the syrup on each side of the pancake for you to dip in – one chocolate and one raspberry?

The bacon with pepper tasted really good too, even though my mom said she didn’t want any when she saw it on the menu. My little sister says her favorite is their greek salad – all fresh veggies with feta cheese sprinkled over top!

Address: 999 18th St Ste 105, Denver

Opening hours: 7 AM–1:45 PM All Days.

6. Corinne

Diane Kuhn said: Sunday brunch at Corinne’s was just the thing I needed after a night of partying. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. My waitress, who had ‘Bethany’ written on her name tag, gave me an extra generous helping of avocado with my eggs Benedict which I appreciated since they were so good! They also serve some mean Detox fresh-pressed juice – even better than what you can get in Whole Foods or other stores.

Address: 1455 California St, Denver

Opening hours:

  • From Monday to Friday: 6:30–11 AM; 2–10 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 7 AM–2 PM; 5–11 PM

7.  Sassafras American Eatery, Highlands

Tatyana Malinina said: Sassafras American Eatery – Highlands was a beautiful and charming restaurant. It felt like I had traveled back in time to the old south while we waited at the bar for our table. The food was excellent, but what really made my experience there unforgettable were all of the friendly staff members.

They welcomed me like an old friend and gave us suggestions on where to go during our stay in Sassafras American Eatery that I would have never even thought of going on my own. You can’t help feeling happy when you’re having such a good time! Absolutely delicious brunch.

Address: 3927 W 32nd Ave, Denver

Opening hours: 8 AM–2 PM (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday).

8. Denver Biscuit Company- Broadway

Alex D said: The Denver Biscuit Company is a great place for brunch. I love their biscuit sandwiches and platters, which have hearty Southern flavors. The wait times are usually around 30 minutes but that’s not too bad. It’s a bit of a pain if you’re in a hurry because they don’t take reservations or anything like that, but there is always the to-go window where you can order to go and pick up your food in about 10 minutes!

Address: 141 S Broadway, Denver

Opening hours: 8 AM–2 PM All Days.

9. The District

Greg Brandt said: I woke up feeling like I should stay in bed for the day. It was Sunday morning and all of my normal plans were ruined. My friend suggested we go to brunch at The District, a new place she had discovered a few weeks ago. We got there early so that we could take advantage of their bottomless brunch deal – $17 for unlimited mimosas, bloody maries, sangria, and screwdrivers! Although it took some convincing from me to get her to come out this morning, I’m glad she did because the food was incredible!

Address: 1320 E 17th Ave, Denver

Opening hours: 10 AM–10 PM All Days.

10. Syrup Cherry Creek

Sam Esler said: I had been looking for a new brunch place to try when I found Syrup. The reviews online were great so I decided to check it out with my friend who is always hungry in the morning, and off we went. As soon as we walked in, a cheerful voice greeted us and told us that they would be happy to seat us any time we wanted.

We were one of the first people there so our waitress welcomed us enthusiastically and showed us around before seating us at a table next to the window with two chairs. Outside on the sidewalk, you could see people walking by enjoying their Saturday morning strolls while inside all of Syrup’s guests looked like they were having an excellent time.

Address: 300 Josephine St #20, Denver

Opening hours: 7 AM–1:45 PM All Days.

11. Exile Kitchen Denver

Mariana Gloria said: I was really excited to go to Exile Kitchen. I had been there once before, but this time it would be with all of the people that I care about most in my life. When we got there, they were busy and didn’t have a table available for us yet so the staff offered to give us some food from their mobile truck outside while we waited for a table. The menu was limited, but they still managed to put together this amazing spread for brunch!

We ended up waiting 45 minutes or so because our whole party arrived at different times- which made sense- and when we finally sat down everyone ordered something different. My favorite dish was the chicken biscuit dish with spinach – it’s delicious!

Address: 320 E Colfax Ave, Denver

Opening hours: 8 AM–2 PM All Days.

12. Cozy Cottage

Audrey Stocker said: I headed to Cozy Cottage for brunch with my friends, excited about the eggs benedict and cozy environment. We were seated right away and ordered our drinks – I got a classic mimosa while my friend went for champagne. Everyone around us was drinking their own expensive mimosas though! When the food came, we all dug in happily. The huevos was great with green chile spice; it made me want to order more egg dishes at other restaurants. My friend loved her benedict too, describing it as “delicious.”

Address: 4363 Tennyson St, Denver

Opening hours: 7 AM–2 PM (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday).

13. duo Restaurant

Amrita said: We were wandering around looking for a brunch spot. We went into every restaurant that looked remotely interesting, but they were all packed and the wait times were obscenely long. I was about to give up when we stumbled across Duo Restaurant. It was completely empty save for one table of diners.

The place had a very warm and rustic vibe with high ceilings and wood paneling on the walls. The menu was creative American fare with an emphasis on local farms and fresh produce/meats whenever possible, so it sounded like just what we wanted. When we finally got our food, my friend couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it tasted – even better than she expected!

Address: 2413 W 32nd Ave, Denver

Opening hours:

  • From Monday to Friday: 5–9 PM
  • Saturday: 5–10 PM
  • Sunday: 10 AM–2 PM

14. The Lobby

Samantha R said: “I’m so glad we found this place,” my bestie says as she takes a sip of her sangria. “It’s perfect for catching up and the food is amazing.” I nod in agreement because there’s no other way to describe it. The Lobby has an amazing atmosphere and delicious American comfort food. We ordered brunch, which was served by this friendly waiter who told us about all their specials and what they were passionate about at The Lobby. He also said that if we come back on Saturday night, you can check out their live music scene!
